There is a special day in the life of every theater when artists take the stage after a summer break. The hall is empty, but the chandeliers and footlights glow just as solemnly and mysteriously as during the premiere, and the mystery of the birth of the performance takes place on the stage.
Ashgabat theaters have returned from vacations and are going to please the audience not only with new, but also with the audience's favorite performances.
One of the first doors for its audience will open the State Russian Drama Theater named after A. S. Pushkin. On August 9, the creative team will open the season with the play "One Spanish Night", which will tell an entertaining story about love, fidelity and intrigues that almost destroyed the family happiness of Lucas and his charming wife Frasquita.
One of the expected events of the season will be an atmospheric concert called “Love, Rest, Summer”, which will present light and romantic melodies performed by talented artists.
The main academic drama theater has also prepared performances for the audience that promise vivid impressions to the public. On August 10, the comedy performance “The Bride Is Coming” will take place here, based on the play by the famous poetess Tovshan Esenova in the eighties of the XX century. Two friends, Ulker and Jennet, go to the homes of their future husbands, accompanied by retinues. Ulker is a future lawyer who rejoices in her fiancé and new life. Jennet is an unhappy bride who is forced to marry by agreement between the families, despite the fact that she loves another. This other is also a lawyer who studies at the same university as Ulker.
When she finds out about this, she shows Jennet a photo of her classmates, where her lover is also present. Then the girls decide to take an unusual step - to exchange roles. How they succeed and what the consequences will be, you will find out by watching the comedy "The Bride Is Coming."
The Turkmen State Puppet Theater will tell interesting stories, teach something new, which will allow young viewers and their parents to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of magic and fantasy on August 11.
