Turkmenistan and China are interested in intensifying dialogue in the field of youth policy
On Saturday, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with a permanent member, head of the Publicity Department of the Committee of the Communist Party of China in Gansu Province Zhang Yongxia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The parties reviewed the state and prospects of the Turkmen-Chinese comprehensive strategic partnership, which is dynamically developing in many areas of mutual interest.
The cultural and humanitarian sphere was singled out as one of the key aspects of cooperation. It was emphasized that Turkmenistan pays special attention to the development of cooperation in such areas as culture, education, science, as well as the study of the Chinese language. In this context, interest was expressed in expanding contacts and intensifying dialogue in the field of youth policy.
At the meeting, the successful cooperation of Turkmenistan with the province of Gansu, the administrative center of which - the city of Lanzhou, is twinned with Ashgabat, was noted.
The Chinese side invited Turkmenistan to take part as an honored guest in the 6th Silk Road International Cultural EXPO, which will be held on September 6-8 this year in the city of Dunhuang, Gansu Province, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported.
