Apple will introduce the iPhone 15 with revolutionary changes
The new iPhone 15 smartphones will receive a new programmable button, a larger screen, as well as an improved camera and processor, Bloomberg reports. The presentation of the iPhone 15 is expected in September this year.
According to the agency, in the basic version of the new smartphone, for the first time, there will be a cutout for the front camera with additional Dynamic Island functionality. The Pro and Pro Max displays will be made using LIPO technology, which will make the screen frame 0.7 millimeters smaller, its width will be 1.5 millimeters.
Updates will also affect the design: the frame of the case will be made of titanium alloy, and the back panel will be made of frosted glass. At the same time, the modernization of the internal structure of the new model, according to Bloomberg, will facilitate repair if necessary.
The base iPhone 15 is also expected to feature a USB-C port, a first in Apple history. The new port will replace the familiar Lightning connector and will increase the speed of data transfer over the wire.
A significant update awaits the camera: in particular, we are talking about new lenses and an extended optical zoom range. Apple will also install a programmable Action Button on the new iPhone, which will replace the switch to silent mode.
