The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and China in the first six months of this year increased by 12.3% compared to the same indicator last year. The total volume of mutual trade between the countries amounted to about $5.55 billion, according to the General Customs Administration of China.

A significant preponderance in the overall trade balance belongs to Turkmen exports, which amounted to $5.07 billion during the reporting period. Gas has become the main product exported to China. The cost of supplies of natural gas is estimated at $5.05 billion.
