Endless Symphony: Rasul Klychev Orchestra Invites

The State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan, conducted by Rasul Klychev, does not get tired of delighting the public with the treasures of classical music. The overture to the romantic opera "Free shooter" by German composer Karl von Weber will be performed in the hall of the Magtymguly musical and drama theater in Ashgabat on March 18th. The classic work is based on the legend of a young man who made a deal with the devil himself.
The composer was so impressed by this story that in 1817 he began writing his greatest work, which for centuries will take its place in German culture and glorify the author’s name throughout the world.
However, Karl Weber was not only a composer, he was successful as a conductor, a talented pianist and head of the musical theater in Dresden, having led it to the end of his days.
- In compiling the program for the evening of classical music, we turned to the ballet Sleeping Beauty from which fragments will be played, as well as to Fantasies for the Francesca da Rimini Orchestra by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. The entire first section of the concert is dedicated to Weber’s work, and Yusup Ovezov’s clarinet will solo in the foreground.
The soloist, laureate of the Altyn Asyr Prize, Yusup Ovezov, will perform “Concert for Clarinet and Orchestra No. 1”. The dramaturgy of Weber's clarinet concerts is based on lyrical non-contrast romantic themes. Here the clarinet appears as a tool with rich expressive capabilities that can characterize any image.
“Continuing the musical dynasty of my ancestors, I started as a pianist, but soon I chose the clarinet as my instrument,” says Yusup Ovezov. - I am convinced that classical music is relevant at all times. I myself never cease to admire the work of Mozart, Weber, Brahms. It is better to listen to classics at concerts, in live performance, then its versatility and depth of sounds are revealed.
As Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky said, “The beauty of music is not in a heap of effects and harmonic oddities, but in simplicity and naturalness.” The symphony orchestra conducted by Rasul Klychev invites Ashgabat residents and guests of the capital to plunge into the irresistible passages of the violins and discover the lyrical nature of the clarinet.
