The President of Turkmenistan expressed his condolences to the leadership of Pakistan
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his deep condolences to the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi and the Prime Minister of the country Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in connection with the explosion in the city of Kar, Bajaur district, which claimed numerous human lives and led to serious injuries.
Turkmenistan categorically opposes all forms of terrorism and extremism and fully supports the efforts of the international community in the fight against this universal evil, reads the message sent with words of sincere support to the political leadership of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The Head of State also conveyed on behalf of the Turkmen people, the Government and on his own behalf words of empathy to the people and Government of Pakistan, wishing a speedy recovery to the victims and expressing deep sorrow over the loss of human lives.
According to media reports, 54 people became victims of the terrorist attack in Pakistan, about 200 people were injured, including children.
