Turkmenistan took part in the youth forum "One Belt, One Road" in China


The International Youth Forum "One Belt, One Road" was held on July 26 in Longnan, Gansu Province (China). About 100 young people from China and five Central Asian countries took part in the summit. Turkmenistan was represented at the congress by Dovletgeldy Durdymuhammedov, Deputy Chairman of the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization, China Daily reports.
The purpose of the forum is to help young people develop rural areas in their countries. The platform was called the "Bridge of the Future" - here young people from China and Central Asian countries conducted research and dialogue discussions on the construction of the "Belt and Road", cultural innovations, the development of humanitarian ties and entrepreneurship. The delegates shared their experience and practice, gave advice and suggestions on how to expand the opportunities and participation of young people in the implementation of projects for the development and modernization of rural areas.
The forum was organized by the All-China Youth Federation, the Youth Federation of Gansu Province and the Municipal People's Government of Longnan.
A day earlier, another event took place in the Chinese city of Xining, Qinghai Province – the international training course "One Belt, One Road" for Chinese (Tibetan) specialists in the field of medical science and technology was opened. The center is designed for training and internship of young scientists in the field of traditional Chinese and Tibetan medicine.
The project participants were young people from Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Bangladesh. The training also includes 70 Chinese students and more than 110 students from 18 countries, including Yemen, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Sudan and Morocco.
The course is dedicated to the culture of Tibetan medicine, research and innovation in this field in the treatment of various diseases. The participants discussed the possibilities of coordinating Chinese and foreign resources, as well as the creation of an international educational platform with the participation of the most talented youth representatives from different countries. The platform can become a place for the exchange of experience and interaction of young people.
