The CEC of Turkmenistan has published the results of the elections to the gengesh of the village of Aba Annayev in the city of Arkadag


The Central Election Commission of Turkmenistan published data on the elections of members of the gengesh of the Aba Annaev settlement of Arkadag, which took place on Sunday, July 23.
Thus, according to the CEC, 10 candidates were nominated and registered for 5 seats: 4 from the Democratic Party, 3 from the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and 3 from the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan.
That is, two candidates fought for one seat in the elections, while women made up 40% of the candidates.
218 out of 236 registered voters voted in the elections, which amounted to 92.37% of the electorate, including 4 young people who turned 18.
According to the results of the voting, 5 representatives of local people's authorities were elected, among whom there are young people.
