The current champion of Turkmenistan in football played a draw with a team from Saudi Arabia
Football club "Ahal" held its first match as part of the off-season training camp in Kartepe (Turkey). The match against Al-Adal from Saudi Arabia ended in a draw - 2:2.
Al-Adala spent the last season in the top league of Saudi Arabia, however, after finishing the tournament on the penultimate 17th line, it went to the division below. The team is headed by 47-year-old Slovak specialist Martin Severa.
Elman Tagayev and Meilis Diniyev scored as part of the Turkmen team.
"Ahal" went to Kartepe, Turkey, where it is preparing for the upcoming AFC Champions League and the resumption of the current season of Turkmenistan's top football league.
During the training camp, the current champion will play friendly matches against another club from Saudi Arabia, Al-Fasali, Umm Syalala (Qatar) and Al-Arabi (Kuwait).
Training camps will continue until August 4, after which "Ahal" will play against Mary's "Energetik" in the framework of the 10th round of the Top Football League of Turkmenistan.
