The office of the Turkic.World media platform, of which Turkmenistan is a member, has opened in Baku
The opening ceremony of the Turkic.World project office was held in Baku on is the first joint media platform of the Turkic countries to date. Kazinform International News Agency, UZ National News Agency of Uzbekistan, Kabar National News Agency of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan have already joined the platform, AZERTAG reports.
According to the organizers, 10 journalists are currently working on the platform. By the end of the year, it is planned to hire 50 more employees and create such areas as radio and TV channels.
"We are going to open the Who's Who column and periodically give news about famous politicians, officials, historians, various heroes from all fraternal republics," Rufiz Hafizogly, the head of the platform, shared his plans.
Now the site is Turkic.World operates in 8 foreign languages. The project has been in existence for two years and carries out Internet broadcasting - news concerning the Turkic world about politics, economy, culture and public life of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey are published, – the curator of the project informed.
The project was first presented at the media forum of the Organization of Turkic Cooperation in Istanbul in 2021, and also became the official media partner of the 25th International Business Forum (IBF). Also Turkic.World was the official media partner of the aerospace engineering and technology festival "Teknofest 2022".
