Teknofest Technology Festival has extended the acceptance of applications for participation in the startup competition
The World Aerospace and Technological Innovation Festival Teknofest, which is held annually in Turkey, has announced an extension of the deadline for submitting applications for participation in the startup competition. Applications are now accepted until July 31, 2023.
ORIENT was informed about this in the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Turkish Embassy in Ashgabat. The extension of the deadline is due to the great interest in the competition from the development teams from different countries.
The startup competition is held within the framework of the Teknofest festival, which this year is scheduled for August-September in two cities of Turkey — Ankara and Izmir. Both new projects and teams that previously participated in the technological competitions of the festival can take part in the competition.
The competition covers 10 different topics related to the development of startups in the fields of high technology, aviation, astronautics and other high-tech industries. A prize fund of more than 7 million Turkish liras is provided for the winners.
The Teknofest Festival is one of the key events to support Turkey's National Technology Initiative aimed at developing innovation and technological entrepreneurship. Every year the festival gathers hundreds of startups from all over the world.
