Tajikistan will start professional training of labor migrants

In Tajikistan, a project is being launched to train migrants in the country. Particular attention will be paid to language training, since ignorance of languages is the main barrier to employment of citizens of the republic abroad. It is planned to open English, Korean and Japanese language courses in adult education centers, Sputnik reports.
The project will also create a Social Fund to support labor migrants and their families. The implementation of the program is divided into six stages and for the first time will regulate all aspects of population migration, including labor, external, internal, environmental and refugees.
In addition, Tajikistan plans to develop a mechanism for electronic registration of the migration process at the regional level, and a public council will be created in the Migration Service with the participation of government agencies, international and non-governmental organizations.
