Elections to the local government body were held in the village of Aba Annayev in the city of Arkadag


The elections of the members of the gengesh - the representative body of the people's power - of the village of Aba Annayev in the city of Arkadag were held on Sunday, July 23.
10 candidates nominated by the Democratic Party, the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and the Agrarian Party of the Country claimed 5 seats in the structure of local self-government.

On the territory of the village located in the city district of Kyarizek, 5 electoral districts were created and one polling station was formed. A total of 236 voters were registered.
From July 13 to 22, according to the Electoral Code, early voting took place. 7.63% of the registered voters in the village voted early.
According to the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan, by the time the polling station was closed, at 7 p.m., 92.37% of voters voted in the election of members of the gengesh of the village of Aba Annayev.

During the day, a live broadcast from the polling station was conducted on the CEC website.
According to the information provided by the Central Election Commission, the elections can be considered held. The results of the voting will be made public soon.
