The open championship of the city of Arkadag in MMA and other types of martial arts took place
The multidisciplinary sports complex of the city of Arkadag hosted the first open championship of the city in mixed martial arts MMA according to the “Draka” version, as well as universal combat, hand-to-hand combat, Indian kabaddi and hapkido team game, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper writes.
The competitions were organized by the “Hanmudo” Martial Arts Federation of Turkmenistan with the assistance of the main departments of physical culture and sports of the cities of Arkadag and Ashgabat. More than 200 fighters of different age groups demonstrated their skills.
According to the organizers, the open championship of the city of Arkadag in various types of martial arts has become a kind of reserve review. The competitions helped to find new talents who will defend the honor of their country at major international and regional tournaments in the future.
According to the results of the MMA "Draka", hand-to-hand and universal combat competitions, athletes from the Mary region won in the team competition. The national team of the city of Ashgabat became the champion in Kabaddi and Hapkido competitions.
In addition to well-deserved awards, all prize-winners and winners of the championship in different weight categories received certificates of honor.
