An Ecological Construction Council has been established in Kyrgyzstan, which will promote the construction of "green" buildings in the country.

The co-founders of the Council of Ecological Construction were the alliance of organizations working in the field of sustainable environment and energy "Unison Group", "Green Alliance of Kyrgyzstan", LLC "Eco—city of Karkyra", as well as the Association of Spatial Development "Trinity - Cities of the Future".

As reported by the financial publication Economist.kg The creation of such a structure implies Kyrgyzstan's accession to the International Council for the Construction of "Green Buildings" — the World Green Building Council. This will allow the country to implement best practices in the construction industry to achieve decarbonization goals by 2030.
