Turkmenistan discussed issues of development of cooperation in the field of tourism in the CIS
Representatives of Turkmenistan, along with other delegates from the CIS member states, took part in the meeting of the expert group on finalizing and approving the draft Action Plan for 2024-2026 on the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of cooperation in the field of tourism. This is reported by the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth.
The meeting was held in a hybrid format. The participants finalized and agreed on the draft of the corresponding plan. Now it will be submitted to the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers for consideration.
The strategy for the development of cooperation between the CIS member states in the field of tourism is designed for 2021-2030. It is aimed at increasing tourist flows in the domestic market and combining efforts in creating a joint tourist product, increasing the income received from this sphere by all CIS states. You also aim to preserve universal values and cultural diversity.
