Turkmen and Tajik Permanent Representatives to the UN in Geneva appreciated the cooperation between the countries


Permanent Representatives of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan to the UN Office in Geneva Atageldi Haljanov and Sharaf Sheralizoda assessed the bilateral cooperation between the two states, as well as the state and prospects of dialogue on a wide range of issues.
During the meeting, the Turkmen diplomat congratulated his Tajik counterpart on his appointment to a responsible post and expressed readiness to strengthen partnership and traditional ties of friendship and constructive interaction between the countries, the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the UN Office in Geneva reports.
It was stressed that both sides attach great importance to cooperation within the framework of reputable international organizations, especially the UN. The range of interests covered is wide: from politics and economics to contacts in the field of culture and education.
The Turkmen Permanent Representative wished success to his new colleague in building a consistent global dialogue with all members of the international community.
