Foreigners in Azerbaijan will be able not to pay VAT for health tourism services

Azerbaijan may exempt health tourism services for foreigners from VAT. This was reported by Trend with reference to chairman of the Azerbaijan Medical and Thermal Tourism Support Association Ruslan Guliyev.

This step aims to provide tourists with a more affordable and competitive health tourism package.

According to the source, 205,910 tourists visited Azerbaijan in June 2023, and 919,296 foreigners arrived in the country in January-June 2023.
