Cargolux Airlines carries out regular cargo transportation through Turkmenistan

One of the largest transport airlines, Cargolux Airlines, based in Luxembourg, operates regular commercial cargo flights through Turkmenistan.

According to the International Information Center of Turkmenistan, in April 2015, an agreement was reached between Turkmenistan and Luxembourg on the establishment of air links between the countries. Along with this, regular cargo flights between Luxembourg and Ashgabat were launched.

Ashgabat International Airport serves as a major cargo and logistics hub in Central Asia and serves as a technical stop for refueling airliners.
