Issues of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UK in the field of human rights were discussed

The Authorized Representative for Human Rights in Turkmenistan, Yazdursun Gurbannazarova, met with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Turkmenistan, Stephen Conlon. This is reported on the diplomatic mission's Instagram page.
The Ombudsman familiarized the diplomat with the activities of his Office, the implementation of human rights in Turkmenistan. A special emphasis was placed during the meeting on ensuring gender equality. In turn, Stephen Condon spoke about the progress made by the UK in the field of human rights and expressed readiness for further cooperation with Turkmenistan.
