Europeans are keen to live …. in Yurts

There is no limit to human initiative. Could anyone have imagined that Europeans, who are part of the golden billion of humanity, will want to live in the most ordinary Central Asian Yurt?
It would be like a joke, except the activity of the Belgian firm Be Yurt, which produces yurts for Europeans. Stefan Klimovsky, head of the company, never visited the Central Asian region, and learned about this amazing house of nomadic cattle-breeders from the Internet.
He started production of yurts only a year and a half ago, and now the company has so many orders, so time to expand production and hire new employees to fulfill orders on time.
Stefan Klimovsky says that in Belgium all the buildings are built in a classical European style, that is, they have a square shape, and the yurt is a truly innovative, unusual solution in the field of housing construction for the Old World.
Klimovsky admits that he really likes the yurt, its shape and atmosphere inside. Of course, yurts for Europeans differ significantly from the one that the nomadic Central Asian tribes used. The modern fabric yurt is like its nomadic predecessor in most ways, except that canvas or synthetic fabric replaces the felted wool exterior.
The yurt of the Belgian model is made of double fiberglass with electricity and sewerage installed. Portable fabric yurt kits are come with a variety of custom options – a mezzanine, a bedroom, and a bathroom, a toilet – to satisfy any taste.
Since in European countries rains are much more frequent than in Central Asia, yurts are made more higher and with a large slop of the dome in order to drain the rainwater better. A safe stove heats the house in order to dry the air inside. Yurt is adapted to the needs of Europeans, so there is better insulation and more comfort.
In addition, Europeans have different color preferences. While in Central Asia, the yurts seem to be disguised as the environment, the European people like colorful ones.
Who, for how much, and for what reasons buys yurts in Belgium?
According to Stefan Klimovsky, young families show great interest in yurts, because when buying a house, they will have to repay a mortgage credit for 30 – 40 years.
Many people buy houses that require long-term repairs that can take five and sometimes ten years. All this time young families have to live somewhere. So, why does the yurt not fit for this?
Yurt, made of environmentally friendly materials, is very comfortable and warm, while there is always increased humidity in the old houses of Belgium, where rain falls for more than half a year.
Moreover, the yurt is portable; it occupies a small area and long-lived.
Thus, the yurt, which we can meet mainly in museums and mass festivals, is experiencing a second birth in the Old World. Moreover, it can play an important social role there, becoming a temporary solution to the housing problem for young married couples in Belgium.
Finally, there is one important thing on price. The cost of European yurt should be European as well. The yurt will cost you 15 to 30 thousand euros. Nevertheless, there is nothing to say since the laws of the market economy dictate the rules. As they say, demand makes supply.
