In total, China imported 13.51 billion cubic meters of blue fuel in May, which is a historical maximum for this month. Experts call the growth of the Chinese economy after the removal of covid restrictions a key factor in the high growth dynamics of the global energy market.

Earlier, at the Central Asia-China Summit, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov spoke in favor of continuing the implementation of new projects to increase the supply of Turkmen blue fuel to China.

Chinese President Xi Jinping, in turn, supported the acceleration of the construction of the 4th line of the Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline, which should increase the total capacity of the pipeline to 65 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
