Bidding on SCRMET: $53 million worth of petrochemical products were sold for export


Gasoline of the A-92 brand ($707.25 per ton), low-sulfur heating oil ($403.50 per ton), carbamide of the B brand ($248 per ton) were in demand during trading on the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan on Wednesday, July 19, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Businessmen from the UAE and Afghanistan purchased 12.3 thousand tons of gasoline from the state concern Turkmenneft for a total of $8.6 million.
Representatives of the business circles of Malta, the Virgin Islands and the UAE signed deals with Turkmenneft Group for the purchase of 100 thousand tons of heating oil for $40.3 million.
Companies from the UAE and Afghanistan signed contracts with the state concern "Turkmenhimiya" for the purchase of 16 thousand tons of urea. The total amount of transactions exceeded $3.9 million.
In total, 18 deals worth $53 million were concluded during the auction.
