The Chairman of the CIS Ministry of Internal Affairs thanked Turkmenistan for assistance in holding the Friendship Caravan rally
Chairman of the Intergovernmental Council of CIS Road Builders Buri Karimov thanked Turkmenistan for its assistance in organizing the 6th international motor rally "Caravan of Friendship", which took place from April 24 to May 10, 2023.
The words of gratitude were expressed during Karimov's meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Hajiyev in Ashgabat, the website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The Chairman of the CIS Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the rally was designed to promote the development of international transport corridors, road safety, and reduce the number of barriers to the movement of goods and transport.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the main areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Intergovernmental Council of Road Builders of the CIS and prospects for the development of transport corridors in the region.
