The head of the Halk Maslahaty named priority topics for the national forum


The national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov identified six priority aspects for working out the agenda of the upcoming September 24 meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan on the basis of financial and economic analytics by industry.
Speaking at the meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty held on Tuesday, July 18, the national leader focused on the following areas.

First, it is necessary to review the mechanisms of public-private partnership, the creation of joint-stock companies, and in order to improve the securities market and stock exchange, stimulate the private sector, provide additional guarantees to depositors, prepare proposals on investment, migration policy, ensuring a stable exchange rate of the manat, and streamlining monetary circulation.
Secondly, against the background of the growing penetration of information and communication technologies into all spheres of society's life, it is necessary to work on promoting this component in training programs, including in the professions most in demand in the future, and professional development of personnel.

Third, it is necessary to further develop mechanisms for implementing state policy in such important areas as healthcare and the medical industry, ensuring food safety, monitoring the quality of medical and preventive work, safety and effectiveness of medicines.
The fourth is to prepare proposals for innovative development of industrial segments: oil and gas, chemical, construction, energy, textile industries, introduction of advanced technologies into production, improvement of the investment and legal economic environment.

Fifth, in order to further develop the agro–industrial complex, ensure the country's food security, modernize processing industries and include waste-free technologies, expand export capacities and socio-economic recovery of the village, it is necessary to prepare proposals for effective management of the agro-industrial complex, the participation of commodity producers in addressing issues of seed production, land and water management.
Sixth, proposals to expand effective cooperation with other countries and international organizations, study and widely implement the best international experience in national practice.
