The leadership of Turkmenistan expressed condolences to the Republic of Korea in connection with the floods


President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent deep condolences to President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Seok-yeol in connection with the natural disaster - heavy rains that caused floods and caused human casualties and large- scale destruction.
The head of Turkmenistan expressed sincere empathy and conveyed words of support and sympathy at this difficult moment to the families, relatives and friends of the victims, wished a speedy recovery to the victims.
A telegram of condolences in connection with the tragic incident was sent to Korean President and Chairman of the National Assembly of this country Kim Jin Pyo by the national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Heavy rains and stormy weather have caused floods, landslides and power outages across much of South Korea, according to media reports. At least 40 people are listed dead, 10 missing. Thousands more people have been evacuated from dangerous areas.
The President of South Korea on Monday promised to completely review the practice of rescue work, taking into account the identified shortcomings. He also promised to provide state support to the victims.
