President of Turkmenistan arrived in Saudi Arabia

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to participate in the summit of the leaders of the Arab Gulf countries and Central Asian states.

At King Abdulaziz International Airport, the head of State was greeted by Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Mecca Al-Mukarram, Secretary of Jeddah Province Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki and other officials.

On Wednesday, Jeddah will host the first ever summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council and five Central Asian countries - Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. The summit will discuss ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two sides in various fields.
