The Council of Elders of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan was established
Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov signed a resolution of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty on the establishment of the Council of Elders of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.
The document is aimed at actively involving elders in the public life of the state, using their rich work and life experience in strengthening the unity of the people and making informed state decisions based on discussion.
This resolution was adopted at a meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, which took place on Tuesday, July 18. The document, published in the evening news of the national TV and radio channels, also approves the position and composition of the Council of Elders of the Halk Maslahaty.
