The meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan will be organized on September 24
The next meeting of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council) of Turkmenistan will be held on September 24 in Ashgabat, at the Palace of Congresses.
This decision was made at a meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty, which was held on Tuesday, July 18, in the capital, under the chairmanship of the national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
By the relevant decree of the Presidium, an organizing committee was also established to hold a high-level meeting of the Halk Maslahaty and the composition of this committee was approved.
The document approved the procedure for electing public representatives to the People's Council of Turkmenistan, proposed by the People's councils of the regions and the city of Ashgabat. The list of these representatives should be submitted to the Halk Maslahaty Apparatus by September 1.
