The President of Turkmenistan instructed to accelerate the implementation of the "Electronic tax" system
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Serdar Jorayev to intensify work on the full implementation of the "Electronic Tax" system during an expanded Cabinet meeting on July 14.
Earlier, the development of this system was reported in August 2020. As noted, it will allow taxpayers to file tax returns electronically, which will simplify the reporting process and strengthen control over the receipt of taxes to the State Budget.
It is also expected that thanks to the new system, taxpayers will be able to pay taxes online and receive information about their debts to the budget.
In addition, the "Electronic Tax" system will make it possible to conduct desk inspections of taxpayers, that is, without calling them to the tax authorities.
