Azerbaijan to host Halal Business and Tourism Forum
Azerbaijan will host the Halal Business and Tourism Forum in 2024. The corresponding memorandum of understanding was signed in Baku within the framework of the 35th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA), Trend reports.
The document was signed by the Head of the Board of the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of Azerbaijan (KOBIA) Orhan Mammadov, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan Fuad Nagiyev, President of the International Association of Islamic Business Marat Kabayev, Secretary General of ICCIA Youssef Halavi and Executive Director of the Limited Liability Company Caspian Event Organizers Bahruz Idayatzade.
The Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture is a division of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the only representative of the private sector in the Islamic member countries. Its activities are aimed at strengthening cooperation in the fields of trade, commerce, information technology, insurance/reinsurance, cargo transportation, etc.
