A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, who is completing his diplomatic mission


Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with Turkmen Ambassador Yazguly Mammedov on Monday.
The parties discussed topical issues of dynamically developing relations, the implementation of joint programs, prospects for intensifying political dialogue, trade and investment ties, cultural, humanitarian and tourist exchanges.
“We met with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan Yazguly Mammedov, who is completing his five-year mission in Uzbekistan with great achievements,” the Uzbek Foreign Minister wrote in his telegram channel, “Yazguly Mammedov has become a direct participant in the intensification of ties between our fraternal countries. We wish him success in his future endeavors."
In turn, the ambassador expressed his deep gratitude to the Uzbek side for all- round support and conditions created for the implementation of his diplomatic activities.
Last week, by decree of the President of Turkmenistan, Yazguly Mammedov was relieved of his post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan "in connection with the transfer to another job."
