The State Security Council of Turkmenistan summed up the work of law enforcement agencies for six months


The results of the work of the military and law enforcement agencies over the past six months, as well as issues of maintaining security and tranquility in the country, further logistical modernization of law enforcement agencies were considered at a meeting of the State Security Council, which was held on Monday by President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

As part of the reports on departmental activities, it was reported on the deployment of digitalization programs and the solution of social issues in the military and law enforcement sphere, the results of the spring conscription campaign and preparations for the military parade on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, the organization of seasonal fire fighting events, and measures to improve skills of employees, etc.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized Turkmenistan's commitment to the status of neutrality, relations of friendship and good neighborliness with other countries and the purely defensive nature of the national Military Doctrine, outlined the tasks of improving the work of the military and law enforcement agencies and, in this vein, gave their leaders a number of instructions.
