Dubai will have the second tallest building in the world. The head of Azizi Developments, Farhad Azizi, announced its construction.

"Officially: we are building the second tallest building in the world," Azizi wrote on Twitter.

The name and height of the building were not disclosed, but it is reported that it will be built on the main and longest street in Dubai — Sheikh Zayed Street.

According to the plan of the future tower, it can surpass the Merdeka 118 skyscraper in Kuala Lumpur, whose height reaches 678 meters, an ultra-tall building in Shanghai.

The world's tallest building, the famous Burj Khalifa Tower, is also located in Dubai. Its height is 828 meters, it has 163 floors.
