Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan increased trade turnover by 3.8 times in the first five months of this year compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.

This figure amounted to $485.46 million against $125.9 million last year. According to this indicator, Turkmenistan entered the list of 15 major foreign trade partners of Azerbaijan.

During the reporting period, Turkmenistan increased its share in the total trade turnover of Azerbaijan by 0.26%. At the same time, Turkmen exports amounted to almost $440 million. In turn, Turkmenistan purchased Azerbaijani goods worth $46.42 million.
