More than two hundred news materials and videos of foreign media told the world about the new city of Arkadag
Representatives of 29 international news agencies, TV channels and Internet portals from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belgium, Hungary, Georgia, India, Iran, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Romania, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France and Japan arrived in Turkmenistan to cover the events on the occasion of the opening of the city of state significance Arkadag. Among them are TV channels "Rossiya–24", "Bolshaya Aziya", "CCTV", "TRT World", "TV Jahonnomo", "NHK", "Doordarshan", "Public Television of Armenia", "Uzbekistan-24", "Magyar Televizio", "KTRK", news agencies "France-Presse", "Xinhua", "IRNA", "Trend", "Agerpress", "News Day Georgia", "Tatar-inform" and others. Among them were also journalists of the publication "SNG.Today" and a film crew of the Interstate TV and Radio Company "MIR".
All events on the occasion of the opening of the city of Arkadag were broadcast online by Turkmen and foreign mass media and posted on leading Internet information platforms. To date, over two hundred news materials and videos dedicated to the opening of the new city have been published in the world media.
Journalists note that the city of the future Arkadag is a vivid example of a "smart city", in which digital, information and communication and "green" technologies are integrated into the life activity. The best traditions of national architecture and modern trends in architecture and design are harmoniously combined here. The city has a comprehensive infrastructure that meets international standards, including in the field of ecology and environmental protection.
The significance of this mega-project is evidenced by more than 20 international certificates and awards in the field of sustainable development, environmental friendliness and innovative solutions, which were awarded to the city of Arkadag.
