Twitter will share advertising revenue with users

As part of the monetization system, the social network Twitter will share advertising revenue with users. This is reported on the website of the microblogging service.
Users who have subscribed to Twitter Blue and have at least five million post views per month for three months can participate in the program. Payments will be transferred to their account in the Stripe electronic payment platform.
According to Twitter owner Elon Musk, users will receive a total of $5 million in the first round of payments. They will be summed up from February of this year. It was then that the launch of the Twitter Blue program was announced.
Some users have already started to receive income. So, the American writer Brian Krassenstein received over 24 thousand US dollars. He has about 750 thousand followers on Twitter. Political columnist Benny Johnson, who has 1.7 million subscribers, was paid $ 9.5 thousand by the microblogging service.
According to the company, this program will be expanded in the future.
The monetization feature became available on Twitter in April of this year. It allows users to earn from the content on their feed through the introduction of a paid subscription.
