The leadership of the State Committee for Physical Education and Sports and the sports university of Turkmenistan has changed
Gulmyrat Agamyradov was dismissed from the post of chairman of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports for shortcomings in his work.
The state committee will be headed by Allaberdi Saparov, who until that moment was the rector of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
Hydyr Nunayev was moved to the vacant position of rector from the post of vice-rector for Scientific Work, which, in turn, was occupied by Merdanbeg Piriyev.
The vice–rector for Academic Affairs of the International Academy of Equestrian Sports named after Aba Annayev was also appointed - Seyitmurat Atayev became him.
Documents on personnel decisions were signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at an expanded meeting of the government following the results of the first half of the year, the evening news release of the Turkmen State Television reported.
