Japan is interested in the development of tourism in Turkmenistan


Advisor of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Yumi Mizumori visited Turkmenistan. The main purpose of the visit of the Japanese correspondent was to establish the tourism industry in the country, the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Japan reports.
A representative of JICA arrived in Ashgabat to cover popular local tourist routes throughout Turkmenistan. In addition, Mizumori visited a number of entertainment and tourist infrastructure facilities, holding a series of meetings with the heads of Turkmen travel agencies.
JICA is one of the largest international cooperation agencies in the world. It has 97 offices on all continents, and its portfolio includes more than 150 successfully implemented projects in various countries.
