The Permanent Plenipotentiary Representative of Turkmenistan to the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Nazarguly Shagulyev, as part of other delegates from the CIS, visited the Belji plant in Belarus.

The Belgi plant is the first in the republic for the production of passenger cars.

The diplomats got acquainted with the production of Geely passenger cars. They also tested all models assembled and sold on the territory of Belarus, in particular, they tested the electric Geometry C and the premium Monjaro crossover.

The Belgi plant has been operating since November 2017. It carries out a full assembly cycle (welding, painting and direct assembly) of Geely Atlas and other modern cars. The plant uses CMT (Cold Metal Transfer) technology developed by the Austrian company Fronius. It not only increases the accuracy, strength and beauty of the weld, but also increases the anti-corrosion properties of the body.
