A scientific conference dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly was held in Ankara
The International Scientific Forum "Magtymguly Pyragy and the Literature of the Turkic peoples" was held on Tuesday at the headquarters of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) in Ankare. The action was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey together with TURKSOY, the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission reports.
The conference was attended by scientists and cultural figures, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions of foreign countries, international organizations, deputies, heads, teachers and students of leading universities, representatives of the Turkmen diaspora, as well as media workers.
Speakers at the forum spoke about the work of the great poet of the East and his contribution to the treasury of universal spiritual values. The delegates unanimously recognized that the meeting made a huge contribution to the deepening and development of international scientific and cultural ties.
The participants also visited the exhibition, where the works of Magtymguly Pyragy, monographs, books, textbooks and scientific articles were exhibited. The guests were particularly impressed by the delicious national Turkmen dishes, which the organizers of the action treated them to.
