More than 7 thousand tons of cottonseed oil have been produced in Lebap since the beginning of the year

Since the beginning of 2023, enterprises of the Lebap Regional Food Industry Association have produced a total of 7150 tons of cottonseed oil, the head of the trade union of the Association, Dennet Altieva, said in a comment for the newspaper "Turkmenistan".

The plants produced 3,950 tons of crude cottonseed oil and 3,200 tons of refined cottonseed oil of high quality. More than 25 thousand tons of cotton seeds were used for production.

In total, the Association's enterprises produced products worth 37.5 million Turkmen manats. Most of the funds were received through the production and sale of cottonseed oil.
