The heat will increase: weather forecasters on the week in Turkmenistan
Turkmen residents are expecting the increase of heat to 40-44 degrees in the coming week – the peak will be on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan reports.
The air temperature in all regions will increase day by day. Sultry weather will "cover" most of the country's territory - in the daytime the thermometer will range from +25...+33 degrees at night, up to +39...+44 degrees in the afternoon.
However, forecasters noted that the intense heat will be short-lived. At the end of the week, the temperature will begin to drop throughout the country - the southern currents in the atmosphere will change to the western ones and the air temperature will drop to 33-38 degrees. This temperature background will continue on weekends.
Dry, cloudy weather is expected to prevail throughout Turkmenistan this week. On July 10-12, the wind is expected to increase in places across the country - the speed will be 12-17 meters per second.
In Ashgabat: the weather will be cloudy, the wind will change direction from east to north-west, the speed will be from 13-15 meters per second to 7-9 meters per second. The air temperature will range from +23...+25 to +27...+29 degrees at night, from +35...+37 degrees to +41...+43 degrees in the afternoon.
