Turkmen parliamentarians have mastered the best international practice

27 newly elected deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the seventh convocation have been trained by the USAID program to promote the improvement of public administration.
Members of Parliament got acquainted with the best practices of lawmaking, the activities of parliamentary chambers around the world.
USAID will facilitate the exchange of knowledge between the parliamentarians of Turkmenistan and representatives of the US Congress by organizing joint visits and meetings.
In 2022, USAID conducted a three-week course for deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan on effective diplomacy in the 21st century, during which special attention was paid to improving diplomatic capabilities through inter-parliamentary channels.
