The Academy of Civil Service has graduated the first masters in the direction of "Public Administration"
The Academy of Public Administration under the President of Turkmenistan has graduated the first master's group, which has been studying in the direction of "Public Administration" for two years. This was told by the senior lecturer of the Academy Hajimurat Pirmuhamedov in a comment for the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
The Master's program with the active use of innovative teaching methods was developed within the framework of the project "Support for capacity building of civil servants in Turkmenistan", which is being implemented jointly with the European Union.
Among the graduates of the program are representatives of political parties, the national Parliament, public associations, specialists of the Ministries of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Finance and Economy. Within the framework of the program, they gained knowledge and mastered skills in the field of public administration, public finance and procurement, information technology, social policy, human resource management and projects in the public sector.
The format of training within the program was diverse and included both the usual seminars and lectures, and interactive teaching methods — the development of group projects, discussions, round tables, situation analysis, "business games", etc.
The two-year training for masters ended with an exam on the subject "Theory of Public administration" and the defense of scientific master's works on topics relevant to Turkmenistan.
