Give flowers and songs to women: musical March in Ashgabat
A number of musical events timed to International Women's Day await residents of Ashgabat in early March.
The culture centre of the oil and gas sector of the capital invites you on March 7 to take pleasure in the festive program «Love like a dream». Many pleasant surprises await women spectators from the man's group of musicians: pianist Vladimir Mkrtumov, guitarist Igor Shevtsov, drummer Timur Orayev and vocalists Nury Nuryev, Alexander Kochetov, Dovran Shammyev, and Sharif Hojam.
- The diversified hits devoted to women will sound, - Vladimir Mkrtumov tells. - We will present some interesting duets where two performers will not simply come out onto the stage and will sing songs, between them there will be a certain vocal rivalry. For example, we will perform the composition «The girl is mine» by Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney which tells about two friends who contest for the attention of the girl, arguing thus who loves her more.
- Our favourite spectators warmly welcome our experiments, and we in turn try to surprise and prepare for them such concert programs so that it would be interesting for all, - musicians says.
One can continue celebration of the women's day on March 9 in the music hall "Turkmenistan" where the orchestra under the baton of Rovshen Nepesov invites you to the concert.
Musicians yet do not want to show all cards, but have told us that in the spring evening on the stage melodious classical compositions and author's pieces of music by Rovshen Nepesov will sound. Actors of the theatre "ARtist" Igor Annaklychev and Tatyana Ovezmuradova will also take part in the performance.
