President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, thanked his colleague for the TOGG electric cars presented to him and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The keys to the cars were handed over to the head of Turkmenistan as part of the celebrations on the occasion of the opening of the first "smart" city of Arkadag in Turkmenistan, where public electric transport — electric taxis and electric buses began to run.
During the telephone conversation of the heads of state, it was noted that the start of production of TOGG electric vehicles in Turkey was evidence that the republic is becoming a state developed in all directions, TDH writes.

"The commissioning of facilities that have no analogues in the smart City region is a clear confirmation of the success of the state policy implemented in Turkmenistan with a pronounced social orientation," it was noted during the telephone conversation.
The President of Turkmenistan expressed gratitude to the Head of Turkey for the attention and personal contribution to the development of the Turkmen-Turkish partnership and noted that strengthening cooperation between the countries is an important vector of Ashgabat's foreign policy.
