The President of Turkmenistan was awarded the medal "For Outstanding Services to the Turkic world"
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Secretary General of the Union of Engineers and Architects of the Turkic World Ilyas Demirji, who arrived in the country to participate in the celebrations on the occasion of the opening of the city of Arkadag.
During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the development of cooperation in the field of construction, architecture, engineering and science between Turkmenistan and the members of the Union. Special attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects aimed at preserving and popularizing the common historical, spiritual and cultural values of the Turkic peoples.
The Secretary General of the Union highly appreciated the level of development of Turkmenistan and its contribution to strengthening cooperation between the countries of the Turkic world.
Noting the huge personal contribution of Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the formation of the unique image of modern, dynamically developing Turkmenistan, the guest solemnly presented the medal "For Outstanding Services to the Turkic World" to the head of state.
The President of Turkmenistan thanked Ilyas Demirji and the members of the Union for the honor, stressing that he perceives the award as a high assessment of the country's achievements in the field of architecture, engineering and urban planning.
