Graduates of Turkmen universities for the first time to receive diplomas without compulsory training

Graduates of a number of Turkmen universities who studied on a paid basis will receive diplomas of higher education without a preliminary two-year training on the placement of the educational institution, ORIENT correspondents found out.
Compulsory training was canceled by the decision Resolution of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on amendments and additions to the Regulations on the placement of graduates of secondary and higher professional educational institutions.
The first ceremony of awarding such diplomas to graduates of the International University for the Humanities and Development in Ashgabat will take place on June 28, students of the university said. Diplomas will be awarded to bachelors and masters. Also, the coveted "crust" will be received by those who graduated from the university in the past academic year and have already worked on the placement of the higher school.
As ORINET correspondents found out, students who studied on a paid basis in any specialties, except for medical and pedagogical ones, will be able to receive a diploma without compulsory training. Thus, state-funded students and specialists in the field of education and medicine will be required to undergo a compulsory two-year training in order to receive a diploma.
