44 Turkmen schools in Uzbekistan received new editions of Magtymguly’s poems


44 Uzbek schools with the Turkmen language of instruction received new books of poems by Magtymguly. The new edition will be a gift, including for the entire Turkmen diaspora in Turkmenistan, which numbers about 200 thousand people.
This information was reported by the chairman of the Turkmen National Cultural Center of Tashkent Guldane Avezdurdieva in an interview with the official press of Turkmenistan.
She noted that at the celebrations within the framework of the week of culture of the Turkic states, the delegation of Uzbekistan brought samples of new books with translations of poems into Uzbek. Thus, since 2013, about 10 similar publications have been released in the amount of about 1 million units.
She also added that the cultural relations between Tashkent and Ashgabat are of a special nature, as a successful partnership was established with the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO and the National Institute of Language, Literature and Manuscripts named after Magtymguly.
